Nashville Lifestyle Family Photographer

FAQ

I thought it would be helpful to have a little spot that answers all of my Frequently Asked Questions to help you in your decision making if I am the right fit for you!

  1. How long do sessions usually last?
Depending on on what type of session this answer can vary. I always so up to an hour. A full family session can take anywhere between 30 min or an hour but usually leaning closer to an hour. I am a Lifestyle Photographer so this ensures everyone is feeling comfortable too. Newborn sessions vary a little bit more because we are on the baby’s time. Do they need to feed again, did they have a diaper blow out, do they need a break?
  2. I don’t want a full session, can we just do a mini so I can get one or two pictures?
Yes and no. I host several mini sessions throughout the year so this would be the time to book a mini with me. I do not just come by for a mini though. Minis are very special and will only be held on specific days I create. BUTTTTTT that being said, I do offer a make your own mini! If you have 5 families that would be interested in the same thing as you, at the same spot, then let’s talk!
  3. How long does it take to get my photos back?
Depending on the season I have a 2 week turn around. During busier months, like October-December, it may take a little bit longer.
  4. What comes with a session? What all is involved?
Your session price includes the planning, the session its self, editing time, and 25 digital images you get to choose from a gallery with the option to purchase more. But, like I always say there is NO pressure to do this!
  5. Do you travel?
Yes I do! I have traveled to photograph events, baby showers, etc. Depending on what it is there is a fee involved. Let’s talk!
  6. What do you suggest and not suggest being worn during a photo session?
I am actually working on a guide that will be coming out in the near future. For the time being tho, I always suggest solids. If someone does have a pattern then work around that pattern and pull out different colors from it. I like to suggest looking on Pinterest too for now. You can say what colors go best with ______? It will show you color pallets that compliment each other!
